3. Booking and Reservations

3.1 Booking Process

When booking a charter, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide truthful and comprehensive information
  • Make the required down payment as specified in your booking confirmation
  • Consent to these Terms & Conditions

3.2 Confirmation

A booking is only confirmed upon our receipt of payment and a written confirmation from us. We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.

3.3 Availability

All charters are dependent on vessel availability and appropriate weather conditions. We will strive to accommodate your preferred dates and times within reason.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Pricing

All pricing is listed in £ and is inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Pricing is subject to modification without prior notice.

4.2 Payment Schedule

  • Deposit: 50% of the full charter fee is due at the time of booking
  • Balance: Payable 48 hours before the charter sets sail
  • Supplemental charges, if any: Payable upon the charter's conclusion

4.3 Payment Methods

We accept major credit cards, bank transfers, and certified cheques. Our payment processing is conducted through secure, encrypted procedures.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1 Customer Cancellations

  • More than 72 hours before departure: Full reimbursement less handling fees
  • 24-72 hours before departure: 50% reimbursement
  • Less than 24 hours before departure: No reimbursement

5.2 Weather Cancellations

If our captain deems weather conditions as unsafe, we will suggest to:

  • Reschedule the charter to another available slot without extra fees
  • Issue a full refund if rescheduling is unfeasible

5.3 Mechanical Issues

In the case of mechanical failures with the vessel intended for your charter, we will aim to provide an appropriate substitute. Should no replacement be available, a complete refund will be issued.

6. Safety and Conduct

6.1 Safety Requirements

All passengers are expected to:

  • Adhere to all instructions from the crew
  • Use provided safety gear when needed
  • Inform of any health conditions that may influence their safety
  • Stay within designated regions on the vessel

6.2 Prohibited Items

The following items are not allowed on board:

  • Glass vessels
  • Illegal substances
  • Firearms or weapons
  • Excessive beverages (beyond moderate consumptions)
  • Pets (unless pre-arranged)

6.3 Conduct

Passengers are required to behave respectfully. We reserve the authority to end a charter prematurely with no refund if passenger behavior constitutes a safety threat or interferes with the enjoyment of other guests.

7. Liability and Insurance

7.1 Our Liability

Our responsibility is confined to the cost paid for your charter. We are not accountable for:

  • Personal harm stemming from passenger negligence
  • Loss or destruction of personal belongings
  • Indirect, incidental, or punitive damages
  • Delays due to weather or situations outside of our command

7.2 Insurance Coverage

We maintain comprehensive insurance that covers our vessels and activities. It is up to passengers to secure their travel and personal insurance plans.

7.3 Assumption of Risk

By engaging in our charter services, you acknowledge the inherent dangers associated with boating activities and assume responsibility for your safety and well-being.

8. Modifications and Itinerary Changes

We retain the authority to adjust itineraries, course of travel, or timetables due to weather circumstances, safety factors, or operational necessities. Every attempt will be made to offer equivalent alternate experiences.

9. Force Majeure

We cannot be held liable for postponements, cancellations, or changes brought on by events beyond our control, which include, but are not limited to:

  • Adverse weather
  • Catastrophic events
  • Regulatory mandates
  • Shutdowns of ports
  • Technical failures
